Tim Doyle, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer of Union Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Todd Uekert, Senior Vice President, Market President. In his new role, Uekert will focus on building and leading the commercial banking program and team in order to the expand the Banks' commercial market share within West and Central Michigan. Uekert will play a crucial role in ensuring the makers, builders and growers are equipped with the tools necessary to achieve maximum success.Uekert joins the Bank as an experienced professional with a successful career in banking, relationship management, project management and leadership in the Greater Kalamazoo Area with over 26 years of diverse experience in the financial industry. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business degree from Michigan State University and Masters in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. As a life-long proud resident of Kalamazoo, where he still resides with his wife of 27 years, Amy, supporting the community is of most importance to him and his family. Today, he is a member of: Salvation Army of Kalamazoo (Treasurer), United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region (Small Business Loan Cabinet) and Michigan Small Business Development Center (Small Business Coach).
Uekert will be based at the Banks’ new Grand Rapids office at 670 Cascade W Parkway SE in Grand Rapids.
