Tim Doyle, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer of Union Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Kozak, Vice President, Commercial Banker.As a commercial relationship manager, in his new role Kozak will work alongside the Bank’s branch management, commercial and customer service teams as well as additional stakeholders to build strong relationships and optimize the customer experience by creating financial solutions to equip the makers, builders and growers of West and Central Michigan for success. In addition, Kozak will lead lending efforts for Cannabis-Related Businesses as well as develop and implement Small Business Administration and credit enhancement products and services for the Bank.
Kozak joins the Bank as an experienced professional with a successful career in banking, operations, underwriting, business development and relationship management in the Chicago Metropolitan Area and state of Michigan, totaling over 28 years in the financial industry. He is a highly motivated, results-oriented senior level professional with the ability to demonstrate sustainable and measurable results. Kozak is a proud member of the Plainwell community where he resides with his family.
Kozak will be based at the Banks’ new Grand Rapids office located at 670 Cascade W Parkway SE in Grand Rapids.
