Union Bank Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipients

Grand Rapids, Michigan – July 24, 2024 – Union Bank is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2024 Union Bank Scholarship. This year, four outstanding students have been selected to receive scholarships to support their academic goals and future careers.

“For over 24 years, Union Bank has proudly offered a scholarship to highlight and celebrate graduating high school seniors who have continuously shown dedication not only to their education but also to their community,” said Cortney Collison, Union Bank President and Chief Executive Officer. “We believe in helping students, within the communities we serve, achieve their dreams of higher education.” The Union Bank Scholarship is open to high school seniors who plan to attend a private or public college, university or trade school to further their skills and education in fields that make, build and grow for a living.

 

Sarah Bovee – Grand Ledge High School planning to attend Eastern Michigan University to study Occupational Therapy with a minor in Business.

 

Bailey Eden – Thornapple-Kellogg High School, planning to attend Anderson University to study Interior Design and Architecture.

 

Bryant Janetzke – Ionia High School, planning to attend Michigan State University to study Actuarial Science with a minor in Agribusiness Management.

 

Katelyn Steele – Lakewood High School planning to attend University of Findlay to study Animal Science with a minor in Agribusiness Management.
