Union Bank Announces Recent Appointment and Promotion

Serving as a member of the Union Bank Board of Directors for over 14 years, Chris Fluke will now assume the role and responsibilities of Vice Chairman.   A lifelong resident of Hastings, Michigan, Fluke began his professional career as an accountant in 1981 and retired as Partner from Walker, Fluke, & Sheldon, PLA Certified Public Accountants in 2018.  He has always been an active member of the Hastings as well as its surrounding communities.  Even after retirement, he still retains his CPA license and currently serves as Director of Hastings Mutual Insurance Company.  With over 37 years of diverse finance and accounting experience in Barry County, Fluke brings a wealth of local knowledge and a true understanding for the needs of Michigan businesses and the communities they serve to his new role. 

During the recent meeting of the Board of Directors, Rose Willson, MPA, CHCEF was promoted from Marketing Coordinator to Assistant Vice President, Marketing Officer.   Willson joined Union Bank in May 2020 with 11 years of overall marketing experience in the nonprofit sector, 7 years of advocacy, marketing, and fundraising experience working for a Federally Qualified Health Center in southwest Michigan.  Like Fluke, Willson finds joy in giving back to the community and is a member of the Fundraising and Events Committee for Still I Run – Runners for Mental Health.
